the battery for my 1600 goes only 3 days before low battery warning
the manual gives ridiculous figure "up to" hundreds of hours standby
a workmate also has a 1600, and says it lasts 4 or 5 days
I have charged it correctly since new, and it is not operating in
extreme temperatures
and I rarely use it - it can be on standby for a week

so did I get a dud battery?
