You would reasonbly expect the computer to last 3 years or more so if it
failed in that time you would expect to have it replaced anyway thus the
the extended warrrenty of a complete waste of money, the law effectively
gives you a free 3 year warrenty anyway.

Either take it back to theshop or  claim on your insurance.if you can
(try reading it).
